I've been looking for a Total War medieval battle type game for Android.The best I've found is Samurai Wars (Felix Ungman).It has real time battles against other players with full control over different unit types and interactive terrain. You can use authentic military strategies to win, just like in Total War. Graphics are simple but do the job.
Music score is great.The other contenders I found were:.Autumn Dynasty (Touch Dimensions). Beautiful graphics and base building tactics but battles are not as strategic as Samurai Wars. Also no multiplayer.Total Wars Battles: Kingdom (SEGA). By the Total War team.
Beautiful graphics with individually animated combatants. However the battles do not allow full control over your units, a lot of your input is activating attack and defence boosters as opposed to manoeuvring your units. Lots of kingdom building between battles.What do you guys think?

To move a unit, touch and pull the 'march' arrow that appears to where you want to go. To move a unit fast, tap the tip of the 'march' arrow after you've drawn it. This will give you a 'double march' arrow drawn on the ground.

To face a unit in one direction, tap on the direction triangle next to the unit and drag in direction you want to face. It's better if you zoom in a bit first. To direct a ranged unit's fire, you can not only face it as above, you can tap on the triangle and pull it to the unit you want to shoot at. The ranged unit will start firing if it's in range, or wait until it's in range if not.
